Functions and Facilities

 

The Community Building Complex of Boone County is a multi-purpose facility that provides rooms to the community and its visitors to hold a large variety of events listed below.  The options are not limited to this list.  The 12,000 square foot facility offers rooms that accommodate small groups to groups of 1000.  The amount we can accommodate depends on the type of event and the set-up necessary. A typical banquet with a dance floor has a maximum of approximately 300.    Each group (User) is responsible for the function of the event to include decorating, maintaining the room during your event, returning the room to the condition in which it was upon your arrival, to the advertising if necessary.   We also have a variety of equipment that can assist in making your event successful.    Personally prepared food as well as catered food is permitted for all groups.  Events open to the public are required to obtain a permit through the Boone County Health Department.  Alcohol, provided and served by an approved vendor of the Community Building, is also permitted.  Please contact the Community Building for details.
